We made a backpacking expedition to Supai back in June. Supai is in the Grand Canyon, and you might remember that Dave and I spoke at the branch there last May. We thought Supai was so unique (one of those "last great places") that we wanted to have the experience of hiking down and out instead of taking the helicopter. So we loaded up and headed out with Dave's family.

Supai is such an amazing place! If you ever get the chance to go, take it! You won't regret it.

You are brave and strong. I know I would not have been able to carry a baby (or anything else) on that hike. Your photos are great and I sure you will always remember that trip.
Hey.. If you know people who want to go, it will have to wait until NEXT Spring. Supai flooded a few weeks ago and everything is shut down for quite awhile. Sorry to break the bad news. Barb
Yeah, I guess I forgot to mention that! I tried to add some pictures of the flooded out falls and stream, but I couldn't find any decent ones. So sad!

We went there 2 years ago to speak, it was soo fun! We've wanted to hike down ever since, but never have gotten around to it. Plus I'm not as cool as you guys, taking the baby, I'll have to work up to that!
